Taking a fresh look at retail lighting NYC designer, Josh Dworkis, designed a backlit architectural structure for the new clothing brand and creative studio, Linder.
The structure was composed of multiple pieces of ½ inch thick tempered glass of which would be brought to life with subtle backlighting. The challenge for Dworkis and his team was to find a light that could be mounted directly to the back of the glass and evenly illuminate from edge to edge. Light Tape® was the only light source that met the delicate needs of the structure – ultra low profile and light weight. The installation includes 13 pieces ranging in width from 4 inches to 18 inches, all are about 7 feet long, and are backlighting 11 sheets of acrylic. To add effects, they’ve pulsed 4 Smart Driver DSD-4000s to fade intermittently
